went to North Carolina this week. but, it was like the Austin of North Carolina, so i used many a unisex bathroom. i think a good rule of thumb for traveling LGBTQ in the South may be if you're encouraged to recycle it's probably cool to use the bathroom that makes you comfortable.

I'm an Uber driver. I put a sign saying tips are highly appreciated in my car. Fuck them. They already don't have the option on the app but to send out an email reminding people not to tip is such a dick move to drivers. If someone wants to give a few bucks because they like their driver and its a historically tipping business, they really have no reason to try and put an end to that. Its more of an incentive to drivers and there's no cost to them.

if you can double dip in driving jobs I know Lyft has a tip function that I often use for drivers - except when they start preaching the moment I get in the car like my last driver

I drive for them as well. It's just not as popular here so I turn them both on and usually Uber hits first. Most people still don't tip with the option on there which is fine. I'm not going on a rant that everyone needs to tip drivers but to send out an email specifically saying not to is a little ridiculous to me.
