Give U.S. of Tara another chance! I think it's fantastic... although I don't really think of it as a comedy. Toni Collette is such a talented actress, and I think the cast- for the most part- melds pretty well. Patton Oswalt and Big Fat Greek Wedding Man is a tad awkward sometimes.
Kate- the daughter- is hilarious. It's not so much about the 'characters' but how they affect Tara's life, her recovery, and her family. LOVE IT. and Mad Men is a fucking sexy show. DON DRAPER PLEASE SEX ME. I swallow. |

I provide Keith links to shows, I let him borrow DVD sets, I am pretty sure he has never once viewed anything I have ever suggested.
Band of Brothers, Firefly, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Lost, all those other award winning shows, no time for those, but Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, Sweet Sixteen, they keep Keith's time all booked up and TV is shit. Yeah, it used to bug me, and 8 months later I would take back my DVDs, still unwatched. But Keith is who he is, I no longer get annoyed by it. /shrug Also, Ben is a fun guest, the music is hilarious! Good job on the LBF song, the whistling was the perfect accompaniment.

Jedi Master
Chemda's right of course. There is something else going on with the Tesco objection to a hooded customer. In fact it featured in one of your shows a while back.
Certain commercial 'authorities' in the UK appear to be nervous of teenage kids wearing outfits with hoods. So these 'hoodies' are banned from places like shopping malls and maybe other public spaces. Doubtless Tesco are caught up in the same hood-meme thing. They probably have some policy about people wearing hoods in their stores (like let's not have any) and ask them to leave the premises. On the grounds of breaking some kind of dress code I imagine. I'm sure this is done politely in most stores, but maybe not so politely in others. Folks being folks the quality of the invitation to leave will vary, especially when resistance (which is, as we all know, futile) is met.

It is odd however, that Tescos will allow women to wear outfits that completely cover their faces and bodies, leaving only their eyes exposed.
You would think that if they should not have one rule for women, and another for men. |
