I agree with what Brolo said and wanted to add some more details.

1. Ask him to trim the pubes and make sure he shows well before you give him a blow job. Getting one of those pubes stuck on your tongue or the back of the throat is a mood killer. And go ahead and make sure you are trimmed as well in case he wants to return the favor.

2. Lubrication is important. I'd recommend giving him a handjob first so to get him good and hard because it is a little offputting to give a blow job to a semi flaccid penis. You don't need to drool on it or spit on it, but make sure that you are hydrated enough to be able to produce enough salvia throughout.
