18: Hate Wave
This week Andrea almost blows up the mics while screaming about a recent guest on the main show who behaved like a pechelant child. Chemda, Hann and Keith join her in the chorus of hate as they go through the play by play of this persons rude ass behavior.

What's up A is easily one of my favorite things about VIP, but these last two episodes have been outstanding. I love to hear about shitty guests, especially when they are so obviously horrible like Michelle was on her episode.

Chemda asked if, as a person listening to the show, we could tell there were problems and for me yes. The main reason was the rapid change in discussion topics and questions that she avoided, half answered, or flat refused to talk about. Keith asking "do you want me dead?" was also a tip off.
I disagree with you all about the dumb thing though. I think there is some intelligence there (she went to barnyard after all), but she is making a conscience choice to be that shallow. We have all seen those people on reality shows, or in entertainment that discuss the entertainment community as it is the end all-beat all of discussion. You know, the ones who watched that Joan Rivers fashion show like they are curing cancer. When you tried to ask something real she would glance off the surface like a skipping stone and I think she did that by design. that is who she wants to be. The real funny part is that she will never be accepted in "that crowd" You have to be old money rich, or a size 0, or famous for something else to get there. the best she is gonna get is to be "the funny one" in the group of vapid talking heads discussing sunglasses like they are the truth.

Let me help with the show comments though:
Michelle brings up her bad dating life then refuses to answer and is offended by any follow up questions. Keith tries to ask about Michelle's college experience and she misunderstands his speech impediment for an insult...and hilarity ensues. Michelle brings up her experience on the view, but doesn't want to say anything about any topics they discussed or the other hosts. The Bachelorette is the best show on TV and no, no one has heard anything about it on the news latley. |

Being honest, yeah I didn't notice the awkwardness with the Michelle until you guys went over it afterwards and highlighted specifics.
I think I assumed Keith and Chemda thought it was funny how unhinged she was. Also What's Up, A! is a great goddamn show, the in-jokes and backstage feel is a really good compliment to the main show. Last edited by Jo_Culprit; 06-29-2017 at 11:09 PM. |

My First "WHAT'S UP, A?" and it's a good one - non-VIPers need to jump on that $1 trial thing.

The "there really sound be a Chemda and the Boy show" joke is almost as old as KATG itself, but I think you may have hit upon what the next VIP show should be:
Handriemda and Some Guy. This combo is a comedy powerhouse! |
