This has been coming up a lot, the idea of Keith and Cat getting married in Ireland. Is that even possible as far as it being recognized here and making Cat a citizen and all of that? It would just have to be for show, wouldn't it? A nice show, of course. A very nice show.

I believe he was talking about the marriage strictly in regards to Cat's citizenship. Which is a legitimate question considering all of the silly legal shit you have to go through to become a citizen. It doesn't sound too crazy for there to be a law that says "Any marriage outside of the US isn't valid in the US."

ya'll got treated like niggers.
They just assumed you wouldn't tip/didn't belong/didn't understand and you got the subtle "shit on" that you can't really complain to the management about as it's not overt enough. But you can look at your treatment vs the other tables and see that you are being treated less than. peace my nigga. |

Croutons, Groupons, and Medical Disasters
The whole point of a coupon is to promote something. What's the use of getting new customers if you treat them poorly and don't provide good service? I really thought the story was gonna end with, '...but then we tipped big and she completely apologized and was thankful. Instead, KatG got more of the same. It sounds like these Groupons are useless. It's wise to be frugle, but what's the point if you get treated like a bum w/ your hand out?

I think in the case of restaurants, Groupon is yet another thing that the management does to pull in more customers but that the waiters hate dealing with. If most people are stiffing them on tips, it sucks for the people like Keith and Chemda who are aware that they're supposed to tip on the full amount and not the discount amount.
