i'm a miserable hermit grump, but i'm not unhappy about it. the work i like to do breaks my soul and takes pounds of my flesh, but i love it so much i keep doing it. if i'm not sweating and grinding it out behind the scenes and crying in the middle of stages before doors open, it's likely i'm not reaching my full potential.

the enormity of Hope inside my soul is a constant annoyance, but absolutely necessary. if i can't believe something insane can be pulled off, it won't, but it sometimes does and it is fucking orgasmic. people are shitty and let you down, but those times they don't, man, get me flying. my highs get so high it makes the disappointment crush pretty brutal, but those times when things really jam are so sweet and good it's worth breaking my back to feel. it's an addiction and i am /always/ after it.

so, ya know, yeah i guess i'm happy if destroying myself to achieve something beautiful or true is happiness.

i grew up in 90s America. everything was very good. i'm not sure what "complicated" entails. what did you have to go through to get things? did you use regular currency? know a "guy"?

i'm not a huge fan of mushrooms as a food stuff, although chickens of the woods are crazy delicious!!! people here forage mushrooms, but, like chanterelles they end up selling to restaurants. i can't imagine needing it to supplement my diet. what was going on?

To go off on a tangent of this, a lot of people think relationships (and life) need drama to be interesting. For some people who don't know better, happy = boring. (not directed at you sparrow, you seem to be chipper as fuck most of the time)

To not go off on a tangent, I'm happy. I can take quick of my life and the good outweighs the bad, to me at least, so I'm happy. My life might not be "enough" for some or too much for others but that's okay cause its mine. I have a job that stresses me out but I enjoy and love and two fucking dogs. I laugh a lot and I haven't gotten depressed in a while. I'm overweight and my one knee is fucked and I've got a lot of debt. It's not complicated for me. The good stuff wins.
