I found nothing wrong with the interview question or the answer. It's fine to bring up, and it's also fine to say that you never had an experience with Kobe that made you think he's abusive to women. A more nuanced answer might have acknowledged that she (Lisa Leslie) couldn't know every bad thing Kobe did in his life, but I think an answer like that is hard to give when someone you're close to and is mostly beloved dies tragically like this.
Snoop and everyone else who's pissed off are grieving and extra emotional right now. I'm gonna give everyone a month to continue saying stupid exaggerated things about this before I take any of it seriously. And the less I hear about Ari the better, what a douche nozzle. Nataly was cool, so interesting the OCD came out when she moved to America. So many mental health issues stem from environmental/situational factors. Also dumbass me didn't even know there was a revolution in Lebanon, go team bringing-down-the-government!! |

So now Snoop Dog/Lion is Kobe and Cosby’s spokesperson? That’s like the sidestep to that meme that asks what Ja Rule thinks.
Add to that the fact that he clearly threatened Gayle, who’s a goddamned reporter, if anything, for doing what she does. I find irony in his using the “powerful Black women tearing down Black men card” despite the damning actions belonging to the Black men in question who objectively brought themselves down, even as he publicly threatened and berated her. And I agree with Chemda that she was weak, though I can’t blame her for being, especially considering his background. Not sure why he was pretending he’s a clean, non-threatening personality in his follow-up clip. Tangent, but anyone with ears can point out mainstream powerful Black men routinely and have long been in the habit of tearing down Black women who continue to protect and care a bit too much; probably arguably the gift and curse of being a woman in general who if she becomes a mother must nurture, a thankless cycle. |
