3410: All We Are Saying w/ Usama Siddiquee and Vincient Garcia
Usama starts the show off with Keith and Chemda, and they get into the pitfall of Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s a tough one, folks, but we can do it, y’all. Usama talks about his America’s Got Talent controversy with Heidi Klum, his Bengali heritage and giving up med school to apartment squat and go into comedy, and what the COVID-19 pandemic has taught him. Then the gang discusses the May 2021 Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire. Also, more than 400 people have been charged following the U.S. Capitol breach while powerful republicans are spinning January 6, 2021 as a “normal tourist visit.” Then Vincient joins KATG in person, and the 3 of them discuss the blessings of jail, anger issues, crack, meth, racism, and the power of realizing your own ignorance.

Holy shit.
The last section with Vincent... no shade to Usama, I enjoyed that part too but that last section with Vincent. Can we get KATG inducted again in the podcasting hall of fame?? That was the epitome of high quality podcasting. Of interviewing. OPRAH WHO?? JOE ROGAN WHO?? Amazing. |

Vincent was surprisingly good on the show.
He has some ability to self reflect so I feel hope for him! Ps. Really write to KATG before you kill someone. Last edited by Apia resurrected; 05-22-2021 at 12:41 PM. |

I'm trying to imagine Andrea's response to this guy.
Violence isn't an appropriate response to infidelity Jesus Christ. |

Usama asked since when Germans became Humor critics.
Trying to remember the date I first came to the KATG forums. But also I’m using being German always only if fits. Im German in my passport. I was born Polish, learned that I’m German by the age of 12 and after I did my 23 and me test I learned that I have 0% Western European/ German genes. |

I appreciate Vincent’s willingness to
Be on the show because that would be pretty hard given how he came off in his emails. I agree with Chemda that ignorant would be a good way to describe him-versus racist. Not sure how willing he really is to try to educate himself. What worries me is that he seems to see women as possessions he can control I.e the I will kill you if you cheat on me thing. I definitely agree with him needing more anger management counseling. You guys did a great job interviewing him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bravo
This episode was a cut above. Usama was hilarious, and the Vincent interview was really amazing.
This interview was, frankly, phenomenal. People forget that you can interview a flawed person, a person who is bad, a person who needs to work on themselves. And you can do that without putting them down or deriding them. Being able to interview him with the patience and compassion you did was great to hear. Does he think that betrayal justifies domestic abuse? Yep Does that mean the interviewers have to tell him he's evil? No This interview is exactly how you get through to a person. Listen, talk through the issues, help them see where they are going wrong. I give you credit here guys, I would find it hard to continue after he justified the whole "drag her out by her hair" story. But in truth, helping him is about not judging. It's about listening and being compassionate. I hope Vincent takes some time to learn, and I would like to hear from him again. Bravo!
