3453: We Need to Talk w/ Shalewa Sharpe
Comedian Shalewa Sharpe joins the duo to talk about porn, dating, sex, breakups, and abortions. Well, that’s not WHY she joined Keith and Chemda, but that’s where it all went just the same. The gang discusses Brazil’s president being forced to eat his NYC pizza outdoors over his lack of being vaccinated and comic Jim Breuer telling us that you can’t threaten him with a vaccine because he knows his faith. Oh Lord Christ.

I haven’t been let down yet but I’m sure it’s coming.
For now people I thought were not so smart are mostly the ones who didn’t get vaccinated. But I was surprised by one! https://www.gawker.com/celebrity/aze...-19-vaccinated Azealia Banks confirmed on Instagram — in the caption under a screenshot of a tweet musing about her vax status — that she is “100% Vaccinated.” The rapper continued: “I got vaccinated in April in Miami, and got my second shot in May in NYC. .... just because I like to share my sometimes stupid opinions doesn’t mean that I’m ACTUALLY an idiot.” And she says lots of strange shit otherwise. |

iPhone Update
I started listening to this episode before updating my iphone, then paused to update it, then got freaked the fuck out when I began listening again because one of the updates is spatial audio so if you are wearing headphones it gives you a 3D feeling while listening. I feel like I just listened live in studio with you guys. Wild ❤️

Giving away pens is forbidden here at least for the big pharma companies.
Not by law but by the company compliance and they are hard ( you could loose you job hard). In fact giving away anything. Its getting weird now. When a physician and I are at a conference its forbidden for me to take him to the hotel with my car because this means saving taxi money for him. So now everyone is driving separately and we destroy the environment. |

Also that some medicine could work less in black people is absolutely racism, the NORMAL
Person in medicine was for a long time a white male. ( no women in studies for different reasons) The other is money, I explain later more. ( keep them wanting more Apia!) Ok now. Basically when you do a clinical study you want to prove significantly. Meaning that the result wasn’t created by chance. For that you need high numbers of patients. Because, just imagine if you have a study with only 10 people, the chances that those people are somehow similar for example by having the same blood type is high. And maybe the drug works especially well or not at all in those similar people. High numbers of patients should also be reached in all subgroups. Subgroups could be defined by age, ethnicity, risk, and other objectives. Many patients in studies= the studies are more expensive = the studies take longer because the recruitment takes longer. In the past no one cared, clinical trials were way, way smaller. As far as the drugs showed that they helped the white man, everyone was happy. This changed with newer drugs. Studies are done on volunteers who get money for their participation and for taking a drug that isn’t safe yet. This is a good thing. Other methods would be testing new drugs on prisoners for example and I hope no one really wants it. Last edited by Apia resurrected; 09-23-2021 at 11:01 AM. |
