3456: Get Help w/ Subhah Agarwal
Subhah Agarwal joins Keith and Chemda to talk personal and business. First off, R. Kelly has been found guilty in his federal trial with 9 counts including sex crimes, kidnapping, and human trafficking. Bill Cosby believes he was “railroaded.” Musician and attempted presidential assassinator John Hinckley Jr. is about to be fully released for not attempting to assassinate other presidents while under federal watch. Keith had his first therapy session, and he’s excellent at it. The group responds to stories of Halloween actors going a little too far, which leads to stories of Chemda the Dove Killer. Hopefully the traumatized children will be as good at therapy as Keith is.

Don't know if it was me or you, and if you fixed it yet if it was you... but my podcast app downloaded this episode twice from the vip feed as if it was two different uploads/downloads

I have problems with obsessive thoughts. This is how my brain works.
Sounds like its like Subhahs problems. But therapy helped me. I win in therapy also! ( saying this is normal and healthy.) |

i have a hard time getting real in therapy. i always wanna be “on” when meeting people. i had one therapist for a while i could drop what felt like a performance with, she told me my thoughts horrified her and i’m like THAT’S WHY I’M HERE. a lot of therapists won’t even see Borderlines. being made to feel untreatable by an entire sect of a profession doesn’t feel great and i have no interest in paying someone to small talk me about being mindful

Did Keith write the poll?
I voted no but actually I think Keith will be fine at therapy. (Nobody is best, c'mon.) Keith displays an uncomfortable level of acceptable to information he receives which points to the answer being Yes. But, what person is ready to accept at day 1 that the problem might be decisions they make? (ie. you create the reality you exist in.) Maybe that doesn't apply in this situation, but there wasn't a "He'll do the best he can" option.

Therapy helped me to stop stress eating and over eating completely.
I didht even think this was possible. Now I'm like Keith and can eat only half of the fries. Its magical. I eat 100% what I want and don't think much about food all day otherwise. I lost weight during the pandemic with this. Last edited by Apia resurrected; 10-01-2021 at 12:20 AM. |

Is this how people without eating disorders live all the time? Tell me.
I wake up wonder if I'm hungry and eat something I want. Than I just do my day and when I realize I'm hungry I again wonder what I would like to eat. I eat exactly what I want. Only rule: eat some vegetables with it for vitamins. After eating i just do something else with my day. I dont think about food during this time. When its for example 7 pm and im not hungry i dont eat just because its food time. I dont eat after dinner to calm myself. This was a big problem for me. I go instead 1 hour earlier to bed and read interior design blogs. ( this is not mandatory. This is what calms me down the most. ) I said goodbye to all other rules. ( like calorie watch, carb watch ...) How can it be that its so easy ? Last edited by Apia resurrected; 10-02-2021 at 01:39 AM. |
