When I’m somewhere else I always check house prices and about always ( unless we are in NY of course) it’s cheaper than our city. Our nice, but modest 3 bedroom, 1700 sf attached house costs about 700 000 Dollars here. ( we bought it for a third in 2009)
I always thought we would one day buy something with more outdoor space, but unfortunately this would be over 1 million so we make the most of what we have here and enjoy the location. I know this are champagne problems. |

I really hope Chemda is trolling with her chicken take. Keith literally read a USDA article that stated “color is not an indicator of done-ness” and “ensure the meat has reached the internal temperature…” and she’s still saying “medium-rare” and “do you have to cook it”! Props to you Keith for not fully losing it. Of course I voted “yes”.

% of Americans per "side"
Person who wrote in to say that "only" 25% of Americans are on the wrong "side" wasn't correct but Keith saying it's 50% wasn't correct either: there's a reason why the right is trying to reduce turnout / keep it low: they know that most people who don't vote would vote blue. So the correct answer is somewhere between the 25% and 50%.

Initially it was just about the color, which is a huge indication of cooked level and the only method a lot of people use because they don't have meat thermometers. |

That was my thing - most people don't have or don't use meat thermometers, so until he read the actual USDA thing he was giving out dangerous half-information. Some dummy would have undercooked the chicken, quoting that "some of it can be pink!" and not have temped it at all and then gotten sick.
