Poll clarification, in the "lied about being raped" I am presuming, like the news story, it /includes/ having sex behind my back? Or is it /just/ lying about rape for shits and giggles, without having had a one night stand they regretted?

Look, this is science we're talking about. This poll is basically:
1. your girlfriend cheated on you
or
2. Your girlfriend cheated on you, wanted a free std check, reported a false rape.

So it's a choice between: you want a slap in the face, or two slaps in the face?

In Nr 2 your partner still has sex with someone else, but lies about a crime and an innocent person might get in trouble.
Why would anyone choose the second option?

I watched most of the new Quantum Leap. The best part was the diverse casting choices. The double storyline didn’t hit for me, it got to be a soap opera where you have to pay attention to every episode to understand future episode plot twists. I guess that’s okay but I wasn’t invested in the show enough to stick it out.

Omg! I read the poll wrong (and voted wrong as a result). I was sitting here a bit disturbed the majority of us are so fucked. I’m relieved I was wrong!

My deleted comment:
The poll results are disappointing. Shows ppl are generally me me me (not that we didn’t know that), or that I’m immune myself. The majority of voters are stuck on, “I got cheated on, woe is me”.

I haven’t cheated (or lied about being raped, for the record), but I can more easily imagine cheating on someone than I can imagine lying about being raped, period. That’s definitely a grimier person you’re with, but congratulations, I guess she didn’t (or did?) cheat on you?
