what a great hour from the marathon that made me feel so many things but I dunno man, I'm kinda stuck on the poll right now. I've been trying to figure out how to gently ask what the FUCK this poll has to do with the content of this episode. But I guess it doesn't have to make sense.

Your honor, there were probs behind the scenes where I had to wait till that was fixed, but in the meantime I didn't think about the poll. Then when it was fixed it, what, was 10:40 pm? So I needed a fast poll and I happened to have a cleaner over for my Super Bowl party.

You are not wrong to not know how it related to the show.

But, dear jury, I think we do need to hear some of these so many things.

I could use Matthew’s feelings cards right now, but I’ll try my best,

I guess my biggest feeling was gratitude for Chemda (can we count gratitude as a feeling?) As y’all were rehashing how Chemda broke the news I just felt so aware of the time, space, energy, effort, care, and patience that she puts into everything. Now, I wanna be mindful to not weirdly pedestalize Chemda cause that’s not helpful and I know she’s human, but god damn for a human, she’s tops.

I guess I can also speak directly assuming she'll see this... hey Chemda, you’re tops. (And you have great ideas for polls.)

It could be helpful to invite live listeners to suggest poll ideas. So often Chemda's poll suggestion comes from a great a-ha moment in the show. Listeners who are into the show enough to tune in live MAY have the ability to make decent poll suggestions in the moment. Then all ya have to do is a quick scan of the chat for some inspiration and boom, more time to think about superbowl snacks or finding a good lube alternative.
