Marc Maron started his podcast WTF in September 2009 and in June 2025 announced its upcoming end. In honor of his run and the big news, we relisten to KATG’s appearance back in 2012. Sometimes I come in Hot and spill my dislike for the Orange One. If they were supporter of him, so far they have let me go and changed subject. This is NOT common for me, but I have done it

Before KATG I'd heard of Dice (of course), along with Stanhope and Giraldo, but until I heard Keith talk about his short list of favourite comics in those early years of KATG I'd never heard of Marc.

So thanks to Keith I was able to be a WTF hipster, listening right from the get-go, and, most importantly of course, was able to drop into casual conversations how cool I was for having been there since ep 1 any time WTF came up after it got huge.

I usually keep my political views close to my vest, but sometimes it feels rude to ask someone's opinion on something without putting myself out there first.

Maybe I should listen to the episode before I reply, but yeah, I'm on the side of good. I believe in following the rules we had set up, maintaining checks and balances and the separation of powers that had been working for us. I believe laws should apply to everyone equally. I could go on, but I think you get the gist.

I work in an industry where one would assume everyone leans left. Liberal or democratic policies tend to favor our industry, where as under the orange fascist, things are in jeopardy. One day in the office, loudly bitching with other co-workers about the wannabe dictator-in-chief, someone said "ssssh, keep it down, you know Mary over there voted for him the first election." And I'm like no, I'm not gonna be quiet as to not offend or embarrass her - she SHOULD be embarrassed. I'm going in with facts, so i believe it is her side that says "fuck your feelings" if i remember correctly.
