With the exception of people who are fat from disorders (thyroid, for example), fat is a side-effect of lazy and poor habits. Get your ass to the gym, put down the donut, and shut the fuck up.

I am fat. I have done just this. I will not blame anyone but myself for what caused me to get this way, and I congratulate no one but myself for changing my habits.

Fat is as fat does.

Fat is as fat does.......you down a 24 of beer dozen donuts on a daily basis don't be surprised to be fat. I myself have a thyroid disorder that should make me fat doesn't so don't alll go usin that excuse either. I should be 200 lbs....but I'm only 125. Get off your asses, put down the powdered donuts and Twinkies.....and do something about it.

I don't care that your dog died and blah blah blah you are feeding your pain.....bullshit. Get on a diet, get out and walk and shut the hell up!!!!

Take it as it is....or shut up!!!

No offense I say it as it is. I was almost 180lbs this time last year. Then lost my husband and 200lbs....lol. But I have no qualms about saying things as they are. And thank you figured I'd start off with a big ol' bang......

Pat Dixon

Favorite guest, not including Patrice, Pat Dixon. I always love the shows he is on, this was no exception.
Oh, and his CD is definitely available on iTunes, and it is definitely masterful.

Seems to me that being overweight indicates an eating disorder just like being underweight does. I doubt many people can just deal with the physical without first/concurrently dealing with the emotional reasons they overeat.

Yeah but just like everything else in the world there is a reason.....figure it out....deal with it....and move on!!! You can't sit here and cry oh god I'm fat no one loves me.....fix the problem and you won't be fat. Like any other disease figure the trigger deal with it and move on. I may sound like a bitch....which personally I am. I come from an Italian family....we aren't all skinny but you either confront it or live with it.....and if you choose to live with it. Don't come crying to me. ~~ Bitch Rant Ended ~~

Sure, but don't ask for acceptance. A lot of people have bad habits as a result of emotional trauma. We don't have to accept that.
