I hate snow for many reasons-main one are the idiots out there. A lot of roads where I live were covered in ice. Monday was nice in that there was hardly anyone on the road. Today sucked. So many people in big cars thinking they can just drive normal on ice because they are in a big vehicle. I had a jackass honking at me because I wasn’t turning right away when the light turned green because there was a semi that hadn’t fully stopped. Mind you there were 2 collisions and 3 slide offs on the damn exit. My corolla isn’t going to survive a semi collision. Hell no truck, van or SUV would survive. Plus I work in the community with older adults and had to cancel two visits because the entrances were blocked by stuck vehicles.

And this ICE shooting. I saw all of the angles and sobbed. He was just trying to help women who were being shoved by ICE. Even fucking cops don’t do that shit. I also read a statement by Perretis last student that made me weep. He was a genuinely good person. It is not easy being an ICU nurse; my sister is one. That kind of loss is just devastating. And NONE OF THIS HAD TO HAPPEN. HOW IS THIS BETTER THAN AN EDUCATED BLACK WOMAN??????!!!!! I can never forgive those who voted for this.

Ivs been feeling impotent in what I can do. I’m a little limited being a federal employee but frankly I’m so close to just not giving a fuck anymore. I want to find a way to highlight everyone who has been murdered by ICE; and not just talk about the white people. Everyone who was murdered by ICE deserves recognition and justice.

All I can think about are his poor parents too. I’m sure they are getting all kinds of hate mail and messages from dumb fucks who can’t see around Trump’s dick in their mouth. To have his murder captured and televised over and over. And to have the government yet again telling bold faced lies.

Bless the people who continue to protest, especially with these murders. I’m not brave enough to do it. I have been writing to my Congress people demanding that they do something and god forbid don’t fucking fund ICE any further.
