Avengers: Endgame feat. SPOILS
Quote:
Also, when Captain America sat on that bench at the end, did he sneak there with no one seeing him (with that giant shield) so it'd be all dramatic? No one saw him... "All the stones back where they should be?" "Yep. No problems." THE END |

I was so pissed that Steve and Tony never hugged. Tony carrying his fuckin survivor's guilt and baggage even for 5 years and even after they got their friendship back they just shook hands like associates. I'm glad Peter exists as a device for Tony to have genuine emotions. He loves that spider-kid more than he loves Pepper.
Beer Gut Thor could get up in my guts. I mean I'd rub oil on his six pack any day of the week Scummy Thor looks like he'd spit in my mouth and I am in. to. it. I found the ending so sweet and am glad there wasn't a total reboot of the universe. Let Vision stay dead. The way Black Widow hardly did any stunts or fight scenes makes me feel like ScarJo was like "Get me outta here. I'm shooting 2 more movies" I'm glad Jeremy Rener stayed as Ronin but it did piss me off that we had to have another marvel fight scene where a white dude fucks up a japanese dude with a katana. Why couldn't he kill some clan members. Aren't they evil enough?

back to the movie
I was pleasantly surprised with how much of a role Nebula played in the plot. So much screen time and so many good moments. Good for her!
I did LOL when Cap Marvel showed up again. Her last line before that was "I might be gone for a long time" Yeah, two fucking hours! |

One of the goofiest moments was in the final battle, everyone's being all super and shit, and then there's Bucky just shooting a gun like some pleb. Dude has a bionic metal arm and we don't get to see him punching holes in bad guys left and right? If all he's going to do is stand around and pull a trigger at least give him a big fuck-off chain gun or something instead of that dorky little pea-shooter.
One of the most impressive things is how sympathetic they make Nebula. She has black shark's eyes, her expression never changes and her voice is pretty much monotone 97% of the time, but after all we saw her have to fight through in the other films, all the horrendous abuse she's suffered from Thanos, I got a lump in my throat when she's talking to Gamora, saying after she tries to kill her a few more times they end up being friends. Meanwhile, it's a fucking travesty Chris Hemsworth gets to be that handsome and also that funny but if Fat Thor is going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 it's already my favourite movie of all time. |
