Another great episode.

Here's the thing. When a person responds in a defensive manner no matter what you say
to the point that you have to be constantly explaining yourself, when you thought
you were talking to a friend or at least a mutual acquaintance where both parties should at least be civil,
it can simply get exhausting!

You have to decide whether or not you want to keep having to explain yourself
to a guy who is this neurotic and damaged.
Is it worth it to "kid gloves" this guy, will he come around? Was he abused?
What the fuck is this interns problem?
Maybe you have to get in his face and just tell him to take it down a notch. There's no reason to be so defensive.

Lori and her mom remind me of the way my mom and I are. Chemda and Keith are always talking about how they can't be themselves around their parents but I think that Lori can. Her mom seems very cool and that was a fun show.

When I first moved to Detroit the amount of bullet-proof glass was very surprising to me. I grew up down South and, while I had traveled the country, I had never seen the level of it that I saw (see) in Detroit. How are you supposed to return fire effectively from behind those ridiculous set-ups?

Lori's mom was delightful! Being a fellow Minnesotan it was a very relatable show. Many of the things she said / way she talked reminded me of my family and old people round here, very wholesome. Kinda a short show, and a little dull for me, but always appreciated. Go Leroy MN!

Ok, this Chris is pro-child molester thing has to stop. Just because you want him to be unreasonably liberal does not mean he is. His point, if you listened, was that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and that gun toting justice is bullshit. You can't just kill people whenever you want, no matter what they do - people will live in fear and history proves that societies in which people live in fear do not work. People become violent and destructive themselves. The death penalty is effective but the key is to use it sparingly.

If anything was retarded, it is that you make Keith the bastion for your own beliefs and make Chris the enemy as the token liberal. Keith and Chris are very good friends who meet in the middle on most things. Chris was trying not to get into a debate about it because, simply, it wasn't that funny to us. We're new parents who were confronted with thinking about child molesters for the first time as parents. Cut us some slack.

So stop it.

My First and Last Post (until someone pisses me off again).
Lori

Well said Lori, it just goes to show that people on the Internet so easily lose perspective.
