My question is: How much debt is ok?

I've been out of work for two months now. Unemployment and a tiny savings is keeping me afloat but I'm starting to think this might be a great time to go back to school.

Do you think that taking out loans for a masters in my field is a bad idea right now? Or do you think that the timing works well and the new degree is a long term investment.

Would love to hear your opinion (and Polina's... love that girl!)

Here it is:

I started dating a guy I really like about a month ago. We've been seeing each other pretty often. (At least 3-4 times a week.)

He recently asked me to go to an out of town wedding in a couple weeks. It's a three hour drive and he said he would pay for the expenses.

I think it sounds like fun but do you think it's too soon and too formal an occassion?

Hey BroLo have you ever seen this guy? His drum kit is nuts. I wish I had pics to upload. It's like a kick drum made out of one of those square/ utility red gas cans you see on the back of jeeps, with a hi hat made out of old license plates, etc.

I guess he used to sing and play drums but he gets a drummer when playing live. Incredible live show.
