I agree with Keith.
Two weeks from now, people will have forgotten, nothing will get done, some new celeb bullshit will happen to divert our attention. I bought into the whole reflection and outpouring thing yesterday. Yet, the first thing I googled yesterday after I read the news was "Robin Williams joke thief." And then I listened to his CD. I *also* listen to Danny every week. Being a Joke thief isn't cool, but at least Robin Williams (so far) wasn't messed up like Michael Jackson.
Keith did you get permission to use the Mental Illness happy hour? Last edited by WSEIII; 08-12-2014 at 08:36 PM. |

I had a gut feeling that Keith would address Williams' joke thievery on the show today. I read a little about this yesterday. The consensus seems to be that it occurred back in the 80's but from what I've heard Keith say about it now and on past shows that this habit was systemic throughout his career.
Keith's points are necessary to add to the overall picture of the man. I still think he was a great performer and his acting throughout his body of work was fair to brilliant. It's appropriate to have the whole picture of a person.

I will not listen to this episode. Robin Williams is too much of a classic to be steamed rolled as a hack. He may have not been a great comedian, but his acting was wonderful. Sorry guys. I wont listen to someone equating the same amount of visceral of child pornography to stealing jokes. Go to bed keith, you're wrong.

"I won't listen to this show, but I disagree with it." Shame on you. "Sorry guys," is the same as, "I love how..." You don't have to bother commenting back, idiot. |
