Actually, that's exactly how the kirpan works!
We have had this debate up here in Canada. Fascinating.

The knife is given to a young man coming of age.
The knife represents each males' duty to protect the community.
I think that's a pretty amazing idea.

Not much different that giving your kid a BB gun or rifle. Which I totally support for rural folks, BTW. Kirpan in school in downtown Toronto? Not so much.

Sikhs are awesome, amazing people with some serious history and deserve some respect. Check them out.

I know the The Star-Spangled Banner is, like, the worst. But it's not like no one has ever sung that tune in a bar. The music was basically a drinking song before it became our National Anthem.

Hating on "tradition" is all well and good, but you could at least search wikipedia.

Also, do you really want a National Anthem that drunken assholes can sing basically at will?

Lightbulb National Anthem

I agree with that our National anthem sucks as a National Anthem and I think this should be this song from NahkoMFTP:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkalVJMKnNA

Here's a couple of ideas I came up with for your cards, Chemda:

Harassment in the streets leaves you solo in the sheets

Sorry about your penis, bro

My self-worth is not based on your opinions of my appearance.

Congratulations! You just proved that street harassment exists and made yet another woman afraid to be alone in public.

Having conversations with women in public is not an invitation for objectification.

my dad took a long time coming around to my making art a career move. it's insecure. i don't have insurance. worrisome dad things. his family were gospel singers in the 70s; very good ones. toured and all that. they fucking /love/ the Gaithers, pedal steels, and Jesus Christ. he watched his brothers futz around with their music without really doing it. they got married/divorced/remarried, had kids, and kind of withered away into bullshit jobs, anxiety and health problems: easier things. dad does and doesn't want that for me. so, ya know, driving force to take myself seriously and not let fear compromise me into complacency. take lots of risks. jump off lots of cliffs into nowhere. i still fall flat on my face a lot, but taken enough successful flights of fancy to have made him proud. i'm doing it and he thinks it's cool; tells his friends, comes to my shows.

he still doesn't know i'm an atheist. baby steps.

WOO! Giants! baseball. an unexciting thing to watch, but the stories are good and Hunter Pence signs were delightful. the Giants all looked very rugged and old school.

That should be MLB's slogan.

Baseball.

Simply delightful.

I have never used a guy's razor. Women's razors have lotion! I don't get why women would use men's razors, unless it's because they don't want to go out, spend money and buy their own.
