Oh shit.. I still sometimes question whether or not I should take something back at the end of the night, buuuut I remember this specific incident and I leave it. I was like.. 24? That still counts as dummy age. So does 32, if anyone asks.
I couldn't go to the naked shows.. Not for any nefarious reasons, other than I would only be looking to take that visual information home with me. I've heard good things about Evan Jones though.. Also, Luke is an adorable guest - like his personality, and I guess his looks too - no homo. |

god, i hope nobody in here is heathen enough to ask their host/hostess for more than good bakeware back. all booze brought is a gift, i can't believe that needs saying, and if nobody ate whatever you brought, don't double the shame of your shit cooking with shit manners.

Yes generally if you bring something its a gift and you should leave it with the host. If the host has too many leftovers I think they can offer to make you a doggie bag but if somebody tried to give me back unopened food/drinks I'd be offended and assume they think its a shitty gift and want to get rid of it.
Also for fancy adult dinner parties (which meeting the girlfriends parents could be?) the host might have picked drinks to match the food so the random bottle of wine you brought is likely to stay closed that evening. |

I don't understand why wine people* don't put a corkscrew into the cork during the cab ride to the party**.
Then when the host answers the door--POP! They're serving your wine tonight, now. *I am not a wine person ** I don't get invited to parties |

that'd be like coming to the door with your dick out. wine is a seduction. there's ritual. rules. that being said, calling myself a "wine person" would be an overstatement; i like it sweet and put ice cubes in red. wine people are disgusted by me. drink gin like a lady, though. *obviously |
