I thought they addressed it in the movies but in the comics no one recognizes Clark because the glasses distort his face and to everyone else make it seem like a face not his own. So to everyone Clark and Supes look different

Also the reason Marvel movies have more humor and entertaining to watch is because Marvel Studios hires fans of the comics where DC hires good directors

I finally bought MoviePass! I thought it probably wasn't a thing in Tx but as it turns out it works at like every theater in Austin. Yeeeeeee
Also they have a sale right now, $90 for the whole year. Howwwwwwthafuckdotheymakemoneyyyyy?

Once upon a time (like 20 years ago) coal mining jobs and other industrial jobs could support a whole family.

In my hometown a job down at the shipyard is seen as a great gig. Those guys can make $75k+ a year without needing a degree. In Alabama you can support a family, own a huge home in a nice neighborhood and have a stay at home wife for that salary.

Plus it plays into the macho man who is able to support his family while doing a manly job cultural thing.
