As of last year Sbux corporate wouldn't let stores give out candy to kids to prevent the extremely unlikely lawsuit from a parent whose kid died from sugar. Not sure if that changed.
But I totally used to trick and treat in bodegas and supermarkets and random cafes in the village in junior high and high school. |

Holy cow, Splendid New Guest Alert!!!
How the hell was this her first time on the show, she somehow felt like an instant KATG veteran. Whoever booked her should simultaneously get a huge raise for booking her and also be fired for not booking her sooner. |

I've always lived in suburban NJ which is closer to urban than it is to sprawling yards and lots of space between homes. With that in mind, I always thought it was the best jackpot trick-or-treating when I'd get to an apartment building because you can ring all the bells once and then have 20 people come down. As an adult, no one trick-or-treats at my apartment! The lucky kid who stops by at the end of the night always ends up getting the whole bowl of candy that's left.
