When I first heard the Roseanne clip I immediately felt like the lazy "not even trying" comedy of someone who actually believes what they're saying but is saying it in a "droll" way just in case. You know, like your dick showing example. If someone is an antisemite they can enjoy the joke (for what it is), and for the rest of us she can claim "hey I wAs jOkInG, obviously!"
