I found a middle age punk rock hairdresser at a Barbershop. Her small talk isn't painful AND she's great at what she does. I got her randomly when I decided to shave my head during covid times. No one would see if it looked terrible and I always wanted to try it, so I hit up a place that caters to men to avoid push back as a woman. She's the first person I kept seeing.
I have a sister who is currently shocked that the whole "body falling apart at 30" was happening for her. I feel like it's more than just age. After highschool/college, time people tend to have several years of repetitive activities and diets. Depending on how unbalanced they are, the body can't keep maintaining anymore and starts breaking down after 8ish years. For me, I started getting lower back pain around 30 from sitting at work and home all the time. I searched for an activities I liked to move my body and build strength. I haven't had lower back pain like that since. |
