So I typically roll my eyes whoever Danny is on because he comes across as fake to me. My respect for him went up though in his being willing to come on the show after putting that intro on, to be confronted on a show that thousands of people listen to and whose fans can be a little rabid at times. I felt like he took it well, was able to joke about it while acknowledging that it was a bit much.

For the cat- I agree that the dude was hoping she would sleep with him and got pissed when she didn’t. If he wanted to be paid a certain amount for watching the cat, he should have brought that up before hand because $2000 isn’t an amount that everyday people can just pay. I felt like she was reasonable giving the $300 as she did say she made sure to cover all of the cats expenses. And cats are typically low maintenance.

The couple being upset about the key being made without their knowledge or permission- I don’t know of any apartment complexes that would be ok with a tenant making a copy of a key to give to someone. You typically have to pass a background check and list everyone who will be living in the apartment. With the couple that is renting a room out, I’m assuming that their name is on the mortgage; therefore, automatically their opinions mean more. Anyone getting into that situation should assume that. And for safety reasons they need to know who has access to their home. There are so many stories out there of boyfriends ending up being crazy or reacting badly after a breakup. If I was renting out a room in my personal house I wouldn’t want to have to deal with that possibility. Frankly sorry about you dude my name is on the mortgage. And again, tell me about an apartment complex that would be ok with keys being given out for their rentals without their knowledge or permission?


Regarding the mother in law. If the worst thing about the mother in law is that she goes to bed early so you can’t access your play room and she doesn’t like going out that much, then just deal. Especially if it is for less than a week. If it is more than a week I would definitely understand the getting your own hotel. We let our father in law stay with us for a night when he is traveling up to visit family 3 hours from us. We know he voted for Trump which fucking disgusts me. BUT our children love him. He has never said anything political in our house or to them. I typically try to stay away as much as possible. Part of life is dealing with people we don’t like that much. And our kids will eventually learn on their own that people aren’t 100% good or 100% bad. I do feel a kind of way given that his vote is directly against my kids interests, he’s one of those guys that believes in staying loyal to a party. As long as he sticks within the boundaries we’ve set regarding politics and political talk, our kids continue to enjoy seeing him, I’ll deal with it. We also don’t see him that much during the year which makes it a little bit easier.
