Wikipedia says I'm a Universalist. It's the first bullet-point if you look up the article. When I read that it was really the first time I'd seen a term applied to a dead-on summation of my beliefs and I've tentatively adopted it since.

I'd have to say i'm Agnostic.

I see the bible as nothing more than a well written novel much the same as an epic like Lord Of The Rings... another story i have no time for. Even though i don't care for any religion, i respect that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs although it infuriates me that they can push their religions and beliefs onto others door to door... just makes it seem so shallow and tacky. You'd think telling them you're Agonostic would make them go away... big mistake. I once had an old Christian couple coming to my door everyweek trying to convert me to their religion, despite my countless refusal to anything they said. The Mormons in Australia, while not coming directly to your door, are worse. They prowl the streets at night trying to convert anyone they find at bus stops, train stations or just people walking along the sidewalk.

I work at an after hours surgery, which means late nights and late bus commutes home. I have been caught by Mormons at the bus stop so many times and it doesn't matter if you have headphones in or pretend to talk on a mobile phone (which i have done), they'll stand in front of you and read passages of their bible until you give them your undivided attention.

I find religion worthless and i deal just fine without it although, as i said, i don't discriminate against anyone who does believe in God or whatever.

To each their own.

I've known a few athiests/agnostics who when it came time to raise their children went back to thier faiths - for the kids, you know.

I call them out as fake athiests who never escaped their theological brainwashing.
