I really liked Tig on the show, but had to read the thread to see how everyone else perceived her. I can see how that perception could've went either way. She had a very quick wit and I lol'd at work when she sent the show to commercial for the first time and Keith had actually put the commercial there.

I think she came off a bit defensive sounding, which is why some people may not have liked her, but the difference is that it wasn't in disrespect to the show, but probably something she has had to hone in the past. Love the show, and hope she's invited back.

the show was funny throughout. Keith seemed to have a rhythm and Tig had her own rhythm going at the same time. She was still funny and interactive but you could hear the frustration which I thought was funny. He said .. "there I said it, that felt good.."

Keith keeps kicking out questions... Tig funny answer... now you go.. one after one after one...

great guest; something different in regards to pace can be good sometimes. I listened wondering how they're going to pull this off.

Good show.

i think im the only one who isnt completely sold on her, so its possible that im a douche.

i didnt even have a problem with the defensiveness, just found something about her attitude a bit grating.

Just think of Tig as an up-front Mark Normand. You ask a personal question and you get a lie in response. With Tig you know right away it's a joke, not three weeks later.

You weren't the only one. I didn't want to be a jerk so I didn't post after listening, but then on the following show Keith and Chemda talked about how frustrating it was to interview her. I'm glad it wasn't just me. It's like she's this character and is trying to Kaufman her way through every public appearance. Okay Carl, you're oh so quirky, so cutting edge. Now can we have a real conversation? And it's something that's always bugged me, just like when someone goes on a late night show and their "interview" is just them regurgitating their stand up routine. Just freakin' sit and talk to people!

Keith shoulda just whipped out his dick in the middle of the show and been like "what"? He was with 3 dykes in the room, so it would be edgy and ironic and not weird at all.

Perhaps the problem may lie in the fact that comedians especially feel that anytime they are making an appearance on a show, they have to prove to the audience that they are funny, in order to promote themselves or prove their worth on the show, which in turn comes off rather fake sometimes.

Unfortunately, not all comedians are naturally funny, and they have to sit down and write constantly. Although I thought Tig was naturally funny, it sort of felt like she wanted to show off her quick wit instead of talking about her own self and past.
