I love Adam Brown.

There is a lot of hate on the show though. I like listening to it (KATG is one of my favourite podcasts), but it's too much when I listen to like 4-5 shows within hours (as I have been doing for months now, trying to catch up). No one is better than anyone else with the type of discussion that includes trading insults. I shouldn't take it so seriously but I think it's a different listening experience when you listen to many shows in a row like that. Not everything can be a joke.

Anyway, regarding this episode, Michelle obviously has not researched what she's talking about so she's making herself look like an idiot. She contradicts herself all the time (although everyone who sleeps with everyone else in Second Life is a whore, both men and women). Plus all that stuff about taking a virtual person seriously....I'm totally with Adam on that point. Saying that she was "giving the most private part of her self to this guy whom [she] didn't know" is ridiculous. "Try to make philosophy out of Second Life" hahaha. This episode didn't do much for me. I couldn't stand Michelle's podcast; her voice after knowing what she looked like, her sighs, pauses, hippie attitude, or Chemda's imitation of Michelle crying (heh).

I met Michelle at the Podcast expo ('06) right before the video podcast panel with Keith, Chemda and Soccergirl. She gave me a "Whispered Pearls" card, so later I listened. It was that weird, overly dramatic delusional crap that you hear from Junior college drama departments and such. I really couldn't get thru the whole cast. The reason KATG has a babillion listeners and Meevio can't even pay it's bills seems to be talent. It really does count for something...

That's exactly what I was thinking! She sounds like some of the overdramatic theater people I went to college with. Every tiny thing was the end of the world to them. But at least they had an excuse...college kids haven't had all that much life experience yet so they're not much more advanced than teenagers, no matter what they think. How old is this Michelle chick?
