No offence to anyone, but I have a bad feeling about engaging with "Parasocial Paradox" further. I think that Keith's instincts are correct about the level of personal interaction should be less. (ie. event at Keith's apartment, during KATG week).

I get that the drama is "fun", but I don't think this will end well.

Chris mentioning the feeling they keep going back to despite a logical conversation is so key to so much of this. Their ego is very fragile, so they have immediate illogical responses to protect them from specific feelings. I had a friend that probably had Histrionic personality disorder. We thought she just fell deeply in love quickly, only to realize after a few years she was using overt sexuality, love bombing, and using threats of suicide to control and hurt her boyfriends into what she wanted. It was abusive behavior, not deep love. If she felt any hint of not being the most important thing, like if her boyfriend was busy with a task, she have an extreme reaction that they don't love her and she might as well kill herself because she is so terrible, etc. When the feeling is gone, they act like they never did anything because they are no longer in that emotion and think you should no longer be affected either. They don't care about your emotion if it involves them feeling remorse or negativity. If you insist on not letting it go, then their ego is threatened again and they are right back to reacting illogically. They have to endure the pain of being wrong to change and that is something that their brain tries to avoid.

I'm done with "fragile" people getting away with things because it's easier to ask the people they are victimizing to help them or continue to endure this behavior and to never talk about it because of the implication of self harm the abuser is using. Talking about it helps you process what you are going through, reveals the attempt of control, and it also helps other people who might be dealing with similar situations start to realize what's happening to them. Keith and Chemda are public figures who also have personalities feel confident and stable, so it feels like they have more power over her actions and it's easier to ask them to let it go, but this is diminishing how they are treated and also giving the person hurting them what they want.

I am a bit surprised how willing they are to forgive her if she behaves responsibly and respects the boundaries Keith realized he needed. This is way more patience and acceptance than she might get elsewhere. Craig being cool with dealing with this, as long as there's some things acknowledged because he can see it like a dance, feels like an interaction she could really benefit from if she could see how rare that is.
