no, all terroists arent islamic but islam has a powerful motivating effect on terrotist actions. im convinced that secularizing society would reduce terrorism greatly. starting with islam since it seems to be the prevalent religion between modern terrorists.

I KNOW I've already had this discussion with you, but part of this perception is because we focus on violence committed by Muslims and ignore the huge amount of violence committed by non-Muslims. For example, the Southern Poverty Law Center reports that since 2008 there were 22 domestic attacks involving far right extremists. There were 7 involving Muslims, all occurring in 2009. The problem is that the media tend to ignore far right extremists. For instance, are you aware that a white supremacist tried to blow up an MLK day parade in Washington? The story was barely covered. But everyone knows about the kid who tried to blow up the Christmas tree.
