More reading tonight, from the Autopsy:

"Given Mr. Brown's height, his head had to bent downward with his face near
parallel to the ground and the top of his head facing the shooter when the gun was discharged to produce the head and face tracks. In that bent over position the three bullets would have had to have travelled approxiamately parallel to the ground to produce the head, forehead and chest perforations only inches apart and then continue in similar trajectories downward and to the right."

Sorry but I'm finding that indeed it would be impossible to get a conviction, AND, there have been a number of shootings by police of black males that people SHOULD have rioted over, but this isn't one of them. Ervin Jefferson, Amadou Diallo, and Ousmane Zuogo to name a few.

There is no doubt however, that this kid could be alive today if perhaps police training and tactics were done differently.
